Never try, never know~

As what Joanna post, how do we know? i just can answer, never try ,never know

I have already jump from R & D field to Product Marketing now. Just update you guys the latest company i work for now is a telecommunication company. It's great can work in telecommunication field. This is what i expect for my career path. But i never expect i 'll involve in marketing. Since, i have only the technical background.

Well, the chances of exposure would be higher than my previous company. Everything is just new and find that interesting for me at the moment. One thing i never expect is working in KL, this is really out of my plan. That's why joanna's post really voice out what i think during my decision making process. Whether give myself a chance to explore~

Ok, hoping that my try would bring me the valueable experience, this is what i expect always.

How do you know?

How do you know if the decision you've taken would give you the outcome that you were searching for? You'd never know until unless you stepped into the picture and experienced it yourself. What if it turned out to be a negative picture? Does it mean that you've made a wrong step? Or the negative picture was just a fraction of the whole bigger picture?
Say if you did fail, it does not necessarily mean that you could not start all over again. It should not be something that you would feel embarassed about because you didn't know that it would turn out badly. Should you have known, you wouldn't even try it out, would you? You should be glad that you took the courage to test it out and you wouldn't have to wake up 10 years later, asking yourself, what would it have been had you tried it out. Yes, you've failed, but it shouldn't be construed as you've wasted time because what you've gained at that failed experience would be something which you'd be carrying in your heart always.
Life was not meant to be easy going. If life was easy, then everything we did and everything we said to each other would not matter anymore. If things were to be too simple, then effort would be worthless. You shouldn't be praying for a smooth sailing perfect life as life will never be perfect without both the good and bad incidents that happened to us. Instead, pray for the strength to overcome the shortcomings of life that stumbled upon us.

New Stepping Stone

In response to See Voon's update, Yes, working life is totally different from college life. However my college life was not as fun as everyone else's because in order to just pass ACCA, you couldn't afford to waste anytime. So I would say that my college life is rather boring or lifeless. In comparison, I think my work life is much more fun as it gives me a lot freedom. No doubt that once you have started to earn your own $$$$, you have more responsibilities: Room rent, car instalment, petrol, parking, toll, maintenance, your life insurance, phone and internet bills, utility bills, food, money for parents, and at the end of the day, you would left a little for fun.

There's no such thing as a perfect job or a dream job. In every single place you are working, there bound to be something you love and something you hate. It is how you response to the job nature and the work environment that matters most. Most importantly, give it a 100% in everything you do. Some update from my part.

Currently, I am working at the Malaysian Accounting Standards Board. We are the body who sets the Accounting Standards which are compulsory for all listed and non-listed companies to comply with. I have here for a year plus now. And in January 2007, I will pack my bags and leave KL for "good". I will be starting my new job in KPMG Singapore in February as an auditor (Lin Xing will understand the nature of this job >.<). It's a job from "hell" but I still took it up as in my field/ industry, this is one of the jobs which would provide me with the necessary experience for me to qualify as an chartered accountant in 2 years' time (fingers crossed).

Overall, my life has been like a roller coaster, ups and downs. I am trying my best to lead a calm and serene life and style. I have been into the Theravadan Buddhism for more than a year now and it has taught me a lot of things about life. Not all things but at least, to a certain extent, I can better understand why certain things happened. Mostly at nights, I try to meditate for about 30 minutes or more. Just sitting down, leg crossed, and focusing on my in-breath and out-breath, and letting all go. In terms of relationship, I have been in and out of relationships for the past few years, until I came to a point where I say to myself, OK, enough, it's time to focus on other things.

Well, generally, that's me so far. Cheers! Be happy and lead a righteous life.

Update~

hey, guys and gals~ It's a long time nobody post any message here. My turn to "heat up" the blog~ no choice, all of us busy for our own thing. Most of us busy to work for future, fight to lead a better life, work hard to earn our 1st 1 million, this is so-called LIFE.

After graduate from U, another stage of life is getting start. Searching for a better job is not easy, for those who are lucky enough, just congratulate for getting their dream job~ those who are still waiting for the chance, good luck. I also wish the best of luck will come to me one day. Although not very satisfied with the current job, have to work to gain experience 1st~ this is the only way to balance myself. In working life, you can start to experience the life which is totally different duirng in campus~ no more hang out at nite, no more overslept during morning (for me, overslept is very not worth, salary will be deduct~ :( damn~) , dare not to spend as we like-( bills, and all the expense have to pay ourself~ wau, scary~)

By the way, just wanna share some news here. I worked in panasonic, jb, cherrie worked in Agilent , Penang. SW shud b work in Singapore ( this guy i lost contact for a long time, so update his news if any1 knows) and Keet worked in KL ( i donno what company is that). Thomas worked as a Sales person in singapore now, a future businessman~ can ask him gv us big treat lo~

Those i din't mention, pls update ur news lo~ haha... i 'm quite outdated recently. Lost Ah Heng's contact somemore, those who get to connect with him recently, feel free to send me his contact.

Take care, and All the best!

i missed out on the actions

ello guys, how are you doing? haven't been here like for ages, more specifically since october last year, so i see that things are progressing, you guys are blogging!

We haven't been in direct contact for so long that i think i miss all of you, so i think most of you are probably working already rite? Well, i've moved from Kluang for those that i didn't managed to inform, yup quite a sad thingy since ive been there like forever. I'm living in Ipoh now, working in a god forsaken place which is a 45 minutes drive from ipoh. Yeah! i am working now in UiTM Seri Iskandar (5 minutes away from UTP) as an English lecturer, hmmm... might move to UTP if they offer me a job there.

Sigh, don't you just miss studying? waking up all late and stuff? without the need to ever punch in the morning, without ever worrying about paying the bill or bills? hahaha, how quickly time sneaks up and steal away the years, miss those days in school lar!

Oh yeah, guys u can now have a taste of Kluang's ever famous coffee (angkat bakul sendiri/blowing one's own trumpet) almost anywhere in peninsular Malaysia (lol, i'm exaggerating). Yeap it's true, we've open up quite a few in the Klang Valley, and my cousin is opening a branch in Malaka, and there's also mine here in Ipoh. Lol, so whenever you are far away from home and need a reminder of the place that we grew up in, then go look for a Kluang Station near you.

p/s: lol, did my publicity stunt worked?

X-Men3: The Last Stand! Which side do u stand? for it or against it?

After watching it last night with my junior, it didn't turn out like what I expected. Too much power in too short movie, plus so many moody and emotional scene...sigh...so pathetic, why they have to kill those my lovely characters, Professor X, Jene and Scott...Perhaps after series 2 they required high-payment "gua"...like the main actor in X-file, so the director asked the script-writer "kills" them " silently"..

Last week after my two elective subjects exams,I am really like a lost-air ballon, no mood and no motivation to study, just watching movie. In these short three days, I had watch four movies, since Friday afternoon. However I haven't watched any movie since this semester, so it's time to pamper myself a little bit, b'coz I don't know whether I still watch it anymore. After uploading this blog, my exam period will start....huhu....

hey Guys and Gals, wish u all the best, and by the way, Yufen I have heard about the website, watch "2 chinese guys", you will laugh until die!!

Miss you all here, I can't go back during this summer semester.

German excursion, don't forget to bring your beer and wein along! They are damm alcoholics!

well this is a top secret, but since u all are my good friends, so I tell you all...this is germany secret chesse burger to end the fierce competition between Burger King and McD, because...it can make u full or over-full for the rest of your life....eee........

Here I go~~~

The biggest pork steak I have ever eaten in my life and I think in the rest of my life too...

Every university has their own system and this is our damm university system. Each and every student has to collect their so called Social Point (I don't write german name, because it's pointless to give german lesson only to See Voon), and you have to collect it before your graduation, so which means you can't graduate without these precious six points. To get these points we need to do some cheap labor work, like help school built up camp if they have any activitiy, or clean up after party and so on. However I must agree that this is what our university so hebat compared with other unis. Because....each year they save so much money by simply introducing this stupid system!!! We are not even cheap labors, but slaves of points!!

So this is not the point today I want to write here, you have another way to get the point. Joining the excursion and being the committee, then u will get two poins easily. In other word (ok, it doesn't sound good, but it's true), you pay to buy the points...sigh...so pathetic...This system doesn't exist in other courses, only in our stupid automotive and mechanical faculty. Do they think that we have not enough to do??

I agree that we learned alot from our this excursion to Siemens VDO Automotive in Frankfurt, CATEM and BBS motorsport wheel. However I think the germans just take this opportunity to drink and laze around! After the first company, the company organised a "wein tour" and we can test different weins there. OK it's nice experience but the real thing came soon....our german collegues bought so many bottles of wein after that, and we (asian students) think that..."ok, they are german and they like to drink, so since the weins are cheap here and perhaps they buy for their family, how innocent we were:-)) Our assumption was immediately after three hours disapproved!! Five bottles of red weins were finished by three o'clock in the morning....of course we " me" are forced to accompany them to drink...oh my God, the next morning we got to get up in six and set off in 7.30am. And my german friends had planned to cheat the company that we were tired because we drove from our university in the "very" early morning, sometimes they can be really "bullshit", well however it was a nice opportunity to get to know our german colleuges better , after the "alcohol effect"...

Above I want to show u all what we eat in the second day. Attention! They are not modified by photoshop editor or~~~~

Greeting from Germany!!

Hi all 5S1 Kaki, I promised See Voon that I will write something here, and after one week and after my Ireland trip do I have time to write "something" here, since this weekend is a long weekend ( 1. May Labor day!)....

I don't know how many years I haven't seen you all already, since I'll be Uncle Goh after I finished my study, so sad...but I can't accelerate the speed of progress!!! Geram:-(( Why it takes so long to finish this stupid study!!! Sigh don't bother it, just enjoy what I get.

All right, I have to go shopping for groceries now, like housewife...sigh...

To echo See Voon's request, all 5s1 kaki, if you are not heartless creatures and don't want to be forgotten, then do write "something" here. Thai Kiat, I didn't see your text yet!! Where are they??

Keep in touch and stay tune, all right guys and gals, have a pleasant day:-))

visitors from 5s1......Thanks

Hi.......I am Soon Wai, Soon Wai finally here to leave u all some words....hehe .......

Well, first of all sorry to SV, coz although i know this blog quite sometimes but never post any message here. However, i also got read this blog always de, jz that lazy to post ma.....heheheh

Don worry, since i am going to grad soon, it is time to share something here.

19042006 is a wondeful and crazy nite, just as what SV had post. Considered it as a happy time because i long time never have fun with our 5S 1 kaki already. Still remembered when kids day we used to have trip to Sunway Lagoon play whole day, went to genting playing around( where ah heng shout ah poh in the cable car) hahaha.......very fun at that time.

During these few years, few of 5S1 kaki also visited SV and me.Let's have some flash back ya.

He is Ah Heng, comes once in a 2 months almost. Always tumpang my house for overnight, i believed as he doing so, he will indirectly got some allowances put in pocket gua.....hahahah.Anyway, he got treat us eat sometimes de la, if not...i already kick him out liao lo....hahaha.Sometimes he comes at wrong time when i am busy with my studies, and i just let he comes and sleeping on my bed only. Most funny things is, whenever my housemate get to know he is coming, their respond will be:"Hah, ah heng again ah, Don la!". Not only he is always talking non stop but also will keep on harassing my housemates for mahjong with him. And, my housemates will never ever play mahjong with him, coz don know y, he keep on winning when playing mahjong with my housemate. My housemate now see him also need to hide already......hahhaah

This is Tay Eng, i must make things clear that i never forced him to give me treat, but somehow, i know he will. Ole Sayang is one of the most expensive Nyonya food in the malacca city, thanks to Tay Eng that give me the chance to have a try in this Nyonya Restaurant. Of course, thanks to the unity of SV, ah Heng and me , the unity of 3 of us bring me for this Nyonya food.hahahahah.However, ah Heng no fate with this nice Nyonya food, but don worry, SV and I already eat for u......so u never rugi also !!

Show face like this also no use la, we already in the restaurant liao!!!hehehehehe

This is Ling Sing and Thai Kiat ,visited Malacca on 2909 2003. We had the chance to walking around in Malacca town, eat Baba chendol and took some photo in some historical places. Most importantly, we played a superb funny, crazy bowling match. Only then i know, Ling Sing only can play well in KL bowling center but others places cannot. Also, only then i get to know that, Thai Kiat is lousy in Bowling. Conclusion is.....how come all TAR ppl so lousy ah??MMU hooray........hahahah

Pattern is good la.....but skill is......haih.....

He.........also not much better la..........

Many people passing through in my University Life, but 5S1 people will always be in my heart.
5S1 kaki, most precious kaki, unforgettable memory.....................

Note: more visitors will be coming soon.........stay tuned.....hehe
