How do you know?

How do you know if the decision you've taken would give you the outcome that you were searching for? You'd never know until unless you stepped into the picture and experienced it yourself. What if it turned out to be a negative picture? Does it mean that you've made a wrong step? Or the negative picture was just a fraction of the whole bigger picture?
Say if you did fail, it does not necessarily mean that you could not start all over again. It should not be something that you would feel embarassed about because you didn't know that it would turn out badly. Should you have known, you wouldn't even try it out, would you? You should be glad that you took the courage to test it out and you wouldn't have to wake up 10 years later, asking yourself, what would it have been had you tried it out. Yes, you've failed, but it shouldn't be construed as you've wasted time because what you've gained at that failed experience would be something which you'd be carrying in your heart always.
Life was not meant to be easy going. If life was easy, then everything we did and everything we said to each other would not matter anymore. If things were to be too simple, then effort would be worthless. You shouldn't be praying for a smooth sailing perfect life as life will never be perfect without both the good and bad incidents that happened to us. Instead, pray for the strength to overcome the shortcomings of life that stumbled upon us.
